The SIF hosts talks two or three times a year in central London. These talks are open to the public and are free of charge although a donation is always welcome. Speakers in recent years have included Dr Sean Gabb (Libertarian Alliance), Dr Helen Szamuely (EU Referendum blog), Dr Syed Kamall (MEP for London), Dr Mark Pennington (Institute for Economic Affairs), Dr Robert Lefever (PROMIS recovery unit and primary care unit), Nick Seaton (Campaign for Real Education) and Ted Goodman (Labour Party and the Campaign Against Censorship).
